I arrived safely on the Big Island! It is so sunny and beautiful! Spending time with my friend Jess that I met at Kalani last year. Went to a wonderful beach today and saw some whales! The humpbacks are migrating south for the winter and you will always see splashes of them breaching in the distance. Today we could see the shape of the tail! Amazing!
On the plane right here I sat next to a great lady named Starr. She was from bellevue and a really spiritual and mystical woman. She told me many stories. We started chatting because she pulled out her knitting and I asked her to teach me, she told me she just goes with the flow and that its all about the colors (sounds familiar), she makes hats. She said she asked her angels to sit next to someone interesting and it worked out. She taught me alot and we are going to get together when I go back to Seattle.
Had the best Kona coffee this morning with coconut :)
Im heading over to Kalani on Friday and will start work shortly after. Im really excited to see some of the people I will know from last year. Also my friend Tyler is volunteering for a month too so it will be fun to spend time with him too.
And Sarah comes on Monday! Cannot wait to share this magical place with you!!!
I love you all and wish I could have taken you from rainy Seattle with me!
